Movin' dirt
This week we saw the dirt work start on our next addition - we plan to add a barn/workshop on the east side, just north of the existing out buildings. The design is still under consideration, pending bids on the work, but will at least include parking for the tractor, gator and other implements, as well as a workshop. Our current plan is that there will also be a tack room and some stalls for horses.
We have had several variations and a wide range of costs, and although originally we thought we would be in by now, the additional time has allowed us to rethink and modify somewhat. Cooper has done a great job of keeping us informed and with diagrams and blueprints. Hopefully there will be some pics soon of a barn-raisin'.
